There is so much beauty in spontaneity especially if we talk about quick trips! Right?!!! We usually plan for the best-breather-ever and end up filing them in the queuing department (due to a gazzillion of reasons!!! 🤣) #Drawing
I’m just grateful how Aj and I managed to take a short break from EVERYTHING! Our trip to Jebel Jais with Cryl and Nicey was really a huge blessing!

I’m sharing our short but meaningful break at Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), one of the seven emirates of the UAE!
So 👩🏻💻 First, (Yes, first?!!! Hahaha!!!) We chanced upon the “Oasis Ice Cream” on our way to RAK! I honestly think that you should also give it a try because their ice cream is T.D.F. 🍦 Period.

After the 2-3 hour drive from Dubai, we reached the highest point of the United Arab Emirates – the breathtaking Jebel Jais! (How to get there? #Waze But but but, just be extra careful and mindful as there could be routes that are not yet updated!)

We arrived at the peak about half past five in the afternoon, just in time to gaze at the beautiful sunset.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the perfect score, I’d give the UAE’s tallest mountain the highest mark!

I’m supposed to do a lot of things tonight but here I am, sharing another piece of myself in this space! Hahaha! Dili ko ganahan magthink ug anything else at the moment! Unya na pud inig human nako ug post ani uy! Lel! Bitaw, how’s life? I hope you are all fine.
Anyway, back to Jebel Jais in all its glory!

The viewing deck park will allow you to marvel at the majestic view of the horizon.

FYI, parking fee costs 20.00 AED per hour at the viewing deck. As for our case, we only spent an hour at the deck and decided to move and find the best spot for picnics!

No bashing, please. Wala pud ko kasabot ngano ko nagtiniil. Beach?! Hahaha!!! Wala pud ko kasagang sa outfit kay diba dinalian. Excuse me. Kay muagi ko. Hahaha!

With my soon to be husband. Lel!

Did I mention about finding the perfect spot for picnic? We enjoyed our coffee and chips whilst feeling the cool breeze at the summit.
An hour later, we packed our things and left for dinner!

Cryl’s favorite – the EFC Emirates Fried Chicken! It’s about an hour away from the peak of Jebel Jais!

Never leave Ras Al Khaima without trying Ashuk Ice Cream’s Falooda! 🍧

I missed talking to myself you, guys! Hahaha! (Well, I’m pretty sure I got two sure readers, Mommy and Aj! Hahaha!)
Kidding aside, I truly wish that I could get back to my regular programming. But you know, amidst all the challenges that we face, we should still find beauty in life. Difficult? Yes. But it’s the challenges that make life worthwhile, right? Cliché but there is #truth in the following.
“Everybody wants happiness, nobody wants pain, but you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain.”
I pray that everything goes well for you and your family. Have a blessed day. Kita ra nya ta sa Jebel Jais!
♥️,
Shola
