We are now in our third trimester and the movement of life inside me is the best feeling ever!
Oftentimes, I’d catch myself smiling as I heartily stare at my tummy and actually see my little boy moving. I always tell my husband how blissful the experience is. Carrying someone so precious and dear to me is definitely one of the blessings that I couldn’t thank God enough.
I will never forget the moment when I found out that I was pregnant. It actually answered all my apprehensions as to why I was not feeling like “myself” for a couple of days. I found it really odd to be extra-sleepy during month-end closing and got extremely puzzled since I couldn’t even finish reading a book.
My officemates kept on telling me how I looked “different” (But I didn’t really bother asking if they meant it in a positive light! Ha ha!) so I bought a pregnancy test kit and tried it for the first time…

I carefully followed the instructions. Truth be told, I was about 80% sure that I wasn’t pregnant. Now if you ask me why 80%, I couldn’t really give you a precise answer. I just really have a thing about quantifying my “feels” because #Accountant (?) Hope this is making sense… Lel

In less than 30 seconds, I found two red lines.
TWO RED LINES!!!

Unlike the ones I have seen in movies and whatnot, I was expecting myself to cry but I didn’t. I was surprised and immediately counted months just so I could figure when I’ll deliver. (I told you. i have a thing about numbers. Hahaha!)
AJ asked me what the result was and when I finally shared that we got pregnant about two months after our wedding, that was when it all started to sink in.

Since that beautiful evening, AJ and I have been constantly praying for our baby. Before we go to sleep, we would dedicate a big amount of time glorifying, thanking the Lord for giving us our little bundle of joy. We pray that our child be like baby Jesus – sweet, loving and ultimately kind.
As a mother, my only hope is for me to see my child grow into the the man that God wants him to be and may he glorify and manifest the Lord’s goodness through his words and deeds.

As a way of showing our gratefulness for #TheBestGiftEver, AJ and I decided to have an intimate Gender Reveal Party with our closest friends here in Dubai, UAE!
The barkada holds an Annual New Year’s Eve event so we asked them if if we could add this activity and I’m just really happy that they gladly agreed!

We went back to our hotel apartment few minutes before 12MN.
Kent was the only person who knew the gender of my baby (for about a month ahead all of us!) I gave him the envelope from my doctor and asked him to NEVER EVER DROP ANY HINT!!! Hahaha! I would tease him most of the time but I’m just glad to have a cousin who is not just a champion in public speaking but also has a very bright future in… acting. Hahaha!

Kent and Justin organized the NYE Gender Reveal Party. They spent a lot of time researching about the decors that we could use, purchased items for the reveal and even designed the whole setup for me and baby.
So sweet of them (and I really think that this setup’s going to last for a lifetime! Hahaha!) So.. see you in the next event?

Here are some of the photos during our Gender Reveal and Chillin’s Annual NYE Party. My baby is blessed to have been surrounded with wonderful Ninongs and Ninangs who’d shower him with lots of love and kisses.

I’m leaving you all with a short clip from our NYE Gender Reveal. Please help me pray for the safe delivery of dear little boy.
